1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide field operations, irrigation scheme tracking, GIS parcel mapping, and billing management:

• Account & Authentication Information: When logging in, we collect your tenant subdomain, username or email, and password to authenticate your access securely with your organization's backend.
• Field & Farmer Registry Data: Farmer names, telephone numbers, spouse details, village/commune addresses, land parcel codes, and boundary geometries recorded by authorized field personnel.
• Financial & Invoicing Data: Irrigation season contract numbers, invoice balances, payment records (cash amounts, payment dates, and KHQR transaction reference numbers).
• Device Location: With your permission, the App accesses your device’s precise and approximate GPS location while using the interactive map features.
• Camera Access: The App requests access to your device's camera exclusively to scan invoice barcodes and QR codes for rapid payment recording.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used strictly for legitimate agricultural and operational services:

• To display your current position on GIS parcel maps for field inspections and land boundary verification.
• To facilitate rapid invoice lookup and record cash or digital KHQR payments.
• To sync season and contract data between field personnel and your organization's central database.
• To provide localized agricultural weather forecasts and irrigation advisories.

3. Permissions Used in the App

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used in real-time to center maps and assist officers in verifying land boundaries. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.
• Camera (CAMERA): Used strictly for scanning barcodes and QR codes on paper invoices. No photos, videos, or camera feeds are stored, saved, or uploaded to our servers.
• Internet (INTERNET): Required to synchronize records, fetch weather forecasts, and securely communicate with your organization's API backend.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or operational data to third parties or advertisers. Data is only communicated securely with:

• Your designated organization's multi-tenant server backend.
• Third-party map tile services (e.g., OpenStreetMap) to render GIS satellite and standard maps.

5. Data Security

We implement standard, modern security measures to safeguard your information:

• All network communications between the mobile application and the backend API are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (HTTPS / SSL).
• Authentication tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted and stored in secure device storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain).

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is stored for as long as your organization maintains an active account with Services 4 Irrigation. If you wish to delete your account or request the removal of specific personal records, please visit our Data Deletion page or contact support.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application is an enterprise agricultural utility intended for professionals, field officers, and scheme managers. It is not directed at or designed for individuals under the age of 18.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
